A new experimental drug extracted from Cottonseed may assist slow growth of glioblastoma brain tumors. Named AT-101, the drug was tested on 56 glioblastoma patients, previously treated with standard surgery, chemo and radiation.
The study conducted at University of Alabama, showed the drug rapidly halted progression of further tumor activity in many patients. Research tests are continuing.
